Critical reflection enables professionals in all fields in today’s rapidly changing world to be able to analyze and respond to new and different challenges in a proactive way. On the other hand, professional practice in any field can become routine and, as a result, less challenging as well as less rewarding. Through critical reflection, professionals can focus on why they are doing what they do and why it matters to do it well.
